Meet Alice Bagley!

Alice at 21 Days Old.

Alice isn't quite as big as the stuffed animal, but she will be soon.

Gracie Girl taking a break from her mama-duties to pose for a pic.

The Youngs have been so sweet to send daily pics and updates of our new fuzzy baby and her big family. The pups celebrated 3 weeks of life today. Ms. Pam's latest email about Alice said:

"I was just checking on the puppies in the swimming pool, and guess who was OUT OF THE POOL, and walking around looking for her mama? Yes, our precocious Alice. She is a 'spunky-monkey.' What a smart little girl. She is not currently a cuddler, rather she is a dog with an agenda. She's always aware of where her mama is, and she prefers her mama over Pam."

I have waited so long for this puppy, and Alice is going to be such a joy. However, Alice will not be the only baby in the family -- Rocky is getting Alice's brother, Gus! It is going to be a family affair! Good times are coming!

Happy Birthday, Ms. Linda and Collin!

Collin's 5th Birthday Swimming Party.

Alan with his little buddy, Neal ("our little live wire").

Collin loved his swimming party! It didn't take him long to get wet.

Collin's cousin, Mallory, Neal, Collin and me. (The only way to get the boys to slow down for a pic was to hold them still.)

My two boys.

Collin, Alan's nephew, celebrated his 5th birthday last week. He is starting kindergarten this month. He is really growing up fast. Collin and Neal (3 years old) are both such sweet boys, but there is never a dull moment with a 5 and 3 year old. We also celebrated Ms. Linda's birthday. Hope you like the present for your new house.

Wilson Family Visit and More Puppies

Aunt Julia, one of my dad's sisters, visited Pine Bluff with her family, while her grandson played in a local baseball tournament. It was so good to spend time with her.
While we had the group together, I took Rocky and Jamie to see the pups. They fell in love with a special little guy that we quickly named "Gus." (Rocky had two imaginary friends when he was little: Gus and Tina -- so Gus is a very fitting name.) We have always wanted brother/sister basset pups, so it seems that our wish might be coming true! Stay tuned!

Catching Up-- Julie's Homecoming Party

Karoline, Aiden, Sydney, Maddox, and Addison
Babies with Moms.
Our growing group!

Sorry I have been a slacker lately. Julie Carter Carothers visited a few weeks ago, and we had all the "Central Arkansas" Babies present to meet Aiden. The 5 little ones were a hand full! Erin noted that, among our closest college friends, we have a total of 9, and soon to be 10 (with Brooke Bennett's arrival in August), babies. What a group! Julie and Aiden, it was so good to have you home. We miss you so, and we miss all the other "out of town" girls and babies!

Happy Birthday, Dad and Baby-Puppy Bagley!

Dad with a special birthday, "Julie" cupcake. Julie Carothers taught me how to make this cupcake with cookie dough in the middle. It was a hit, Julie!
Smiling new parents on the search for our puppy.
Mom, I think you need one, too!
Gracie with all 9 of her beautiful puppies!
Rob, Mary Carole's brother, with George, the puppy's father.

This week our family celebrated two important birthdays: Dad's birthday and the birth of the new Baby-Puppy Bagley! For years..., I have wanted a basset puppy. My love for the basset breed is shared with my long-time friend, Mary Carole Young Crane. This spring, her parents bred their two beautiful bassets, Gracie and George, and, around 3 a.m. this morning, Gracie gave birth to 9 basset puppies. Alan, Mom, and I saw the puppies this afternoon, and they are just beautiful. Gracie is already an amazing mother, and Alan and I are so excited about being parents to one of these furry babies. Stay tuned for upcoming photos of our new family member! Because Gracie and George are overachievers, the 9 pups are more than planned for! If you are interested in adopting the brother or sister of Baby-Puppy Bagley, call us!

Moltz Wedding

Rocky & Jamie
Rocky & Ronnie
Ronnie & Traci and Rocky & Jamie

The "20-something waive" of weddings has begun for Rocky. Last weekend, he was the best man in his childhood friend's wedding. Jamie, Rocky's girlfriend, was a bridesmaid, so I got a few good pics of the group. It was a beautiful wedding, but I can't believe that Ronnie is married -- I still think Rocky and his buddies should be in the 7th grade. Time flies!

The trip home from CA...with "501 Boy!"

So, Erin and I got delayed in DFW airport on our way back to Little Rock from San Fran. We were really tired and ready to get home, but our delay was made worthwhile when we discovered that Arkansas Great Darren McFadden was on our flight home. In DFW, Darren was standing away from the boarding gate, and Erin did not want to be an annoying fan ... but I didn't mind. All I had at the time was a legal pad in my carry-on bag, so I approached him with a legal pad and a pink Vera Bradley pen (that Sara gave me for my birthday). He graciously signed an autograph for my brother with his new Raider number and later, when we got to the Little Rock airport (while waiting on our bags), Alan took our picture. Call it "star struck," but he was so nice. He told me he had been to a rookie camp and was going home for the holiday. His sister picked him up at the airport, and he was so nice to all the fans that approached him at Little Rock airport. But, as a Pine Bluff girl, my favorite part was his BLING that said "501 Boy" in all diamonds (if you blow up the picture, I bet you can read it). Awesome!!!! It was worth every extra minute at the DFW airport.
